I've just been called by someone who bought the (Windows) Home & Student version of Office 2106 but now realizes they need Outlook so actually need Home and Business 2016 but of course have used the basic Key and activated already:( In Office 2013 there was an Anytime Upgrade Key option which allowed you to switch versions by purchasing a Key from Microsoft with the cost being around the same as the difference between the two versions. Is this still possible to do with 2016? Clementine media player for ubuntu. Upgrade Office 2016 Home and Student to Home and Business - possible? I've just been called by someone who bought the (Windows) Home & Student version of Office 2106 but now realizes they need Outlook so actually need Home and Business 2016 but of course have used the basic Key and activated already:(. They don't want 365 and from what I've read buying Outlook as a standalone doesn't integrate as well as buying the bundle (although I may have fallen for Microsoft's marketing here:)) Can't find an option obviously within the installed Office or from Microsoft Store - anyone know for sure? Thanks to both of you. As Jackie posted, and Microsoft UK later confirmed, the Office Anytime Upgrade no longer exists beyond Office 2013 products and, I'm told will not be available once 2013 is EOL, which rather begs the question what will users who have Anytime Keys to activate do if they reinstall after that date?? ![]() End users avoiding 365 must buy the correct package - having seen the product packaging it's really not that clear you're not getting Outlook with the Home & Student bundle so this might come up again. Fortunately the retailer took pity on their customer and agreed to replace for Home & Business crediting their original payment so indirectly they got their upgrade but purely through goodwill!
